Are dermal filler treatments permanent?

Dermal fillers are a temporary treatment, with varying longevity, which means that your practitioner can tweak, alter and adjust any results if necessary, as you go on your treatment journey with them. Hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers are also reversible if there is a need for this, using a enzyme called hyaluronidase.

It is not a permanent treatment and will generally last between 9 to 12 months. We want treatment that we can change over time and evolve with you, as you age

Dr. Tracy Mountford talks about the permanency of dermal filler treatments.
